Tyres

Safety and peace of mind are important factors when it comes to anything related to motoring. Any failure of parts like tyres, wiper blades and lights can have serious consequences. Worn items could at best leave you stranded and at worst put your life at risk.

At Keith Faulds Motor Engineers, we’re able to offer customers a full tyre check and replacement service.

Important Tyre Safety Information

Having worn tyres is an accident waiting to happen. You also risk being fined £2500 per tyre and receiving 3 points on your licence for a worn tyre. The legal tread depth for cars in the UK and Europe is 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tread of the tyre.

To ensure your tyres are safe, we recommend:

  • Inspecting them on a regular basis
  • Ensuring your tyre pressure is correct
  • Checking with a garage if you are unsure or have concerns

Brilliant service, used the garage for years, wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else, highly recommended.

Broken spring late Friday. Back on the road just after lunch on Saturday. Well done and thanks to Keith and the team. Much appreciated squeezing me in.

Fantastic, professionally operated garage. Great service.

Absolutely first rate garage. Keith was really helpful in the MOT of our camper van and went to a big effort to turn us around. What a first class workshop as well. Won't hesitate to recommend.

M. Kent

"Just a really helpful and professional garage. We were only in the area for a few days but Faulds got us back on the road quickly so we could enjoy the rest of our holiday. Great communication, great value and couldn't be happier with their service."
